An original recipe for a Cévennes sweet onion tart that’s even more delicious!

Ingredients

1 kg

Cevennes onions
Salt and pepper

Shortcrust pastry

20 cL

Cream
Cream

75 g

Smoked bacon

Steps

Peel and slice the onions into thin rings, then cook them in a hot skillet with butter and bacon bits, and season with salt and pepper.

Line a pie dish, whisk together the eggs and cream, season, and add the cooked onions.

Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 200°C for 30 minutes.

Serve with a salad.
